1. Start from the inside out
One of my favorite ways to maintain a healthy glow is making sure I have at least one glass of carrot juice a day. While carrot juice has many benefits my favorite is that it gives my skin a warm glow and it boosts the wound healing process. Carrots are also natural anti-aging agents.
2. Use a lime and salt to brighten dark spots and stretch marks
Lime and salt are natural exfoliants that will help brighten scars from acne and stretch marks.
3. Use coconut oil to remove makeup and impurities as well as hydrate from head to toe
Coconut oil is a gentle and easy way to remove makeup; it is not harsh on the skin like chemical removers can be. This is great people who wear makeup on a daily basis. Massage coconut oil on your face and use cotton or a tissue to wipe it away. Also, coconut oil is a great moisturizer that can even promote the eyelash and brow growth.
4. Exfoliate your lips and body using a homemade sugar scrub
Mix equal parts olive oil and brown sugar to create a sensational scrub to exfoliate from head to toe. I keep a small jar on my bathroom skin and in my shower especially in the winter time when my skin is typically the driest.
5. Drink your water
Lastly, the most simple way to achieve healthy skin is to drink at least 8 cups of water a day. Drinking water detoxes the body and skin helping to fight breakouts. Drinking water promotes a healthy scalp, fights wrinkles and reduces bags under the eyes.
