SELECT4ME – NOVEMBER

And just like that, another chapter to another month has ended, bringing us to the beginning of the last month of another beautiful year. We hope that our EOV community enjoyed a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday that was spent with family, friends, and all loved ones (hopefully you all were able to avoid the “Black Friday” madness as well). As many of us are left with extra baggage in our guts, as a result of the many food comas that were self-induced this past Thursday, let us be quick on detoxing our systems as we recalibrate ourselves for Monday – a FULL 8oz glass of our Universal Mind Herbal & Roots tonic for a complete head-to-toe cleanse/or a FULL 8oz glass of our Essence of Vitality Herbal Tonic, will satisfy your detox needs. We also want to share with our EOV Community, a short list of immune-boosters that we find helpful during the Fall/Winter time.

  • Elderberries
  • Astragalus
  • Ginger
  • Turmeric
  • Echinacea

TIP: Combine dried elderberries, astragalus root, and ginger root into a super immune-booster tea!

SELECT4ME – OCTOBER

After a bit of a hiatus due to a high demand of the Essence of Vitality Line of products – we want to update our EOV community on some bits & pieces. Starting from September until now, we have started to do more frequent demos in our authorized distributor locations, which is an awesome opportunity to connect with and educate the communities within the surrounding areas on the benefits of our products and also gaining feedback; so keep a lookout for when we pop out! Also, we will be posting a vegan meal prep service and will post their meal plans along with our detox plan using the Essence of Vitality line of products.seveov10.jpeg

SELECT4ME – August

So with back-to-school officially over, we can now focus our attention to the fact that there are only FOUR full months left of 2019, which means that aside from the fact that many stores are already putting up their Halloween displays – the season itself is about to change very soon. With seasonal changes comes seasonal allergies and immune deficiencies that stem from many internal and external activities that we do and that are around us in our environment. In order to combat this, especially in the cooler seasons like fall and winter – we must increase our detox regimens and of course incorporate more cleaner and greener diets into our lifestyle. In addition to our already amazing line of organic herbal detox tonics, Essence of Vitality and Universal Mind Herbal & Roots Tonics – we at Essence of Vitality have listed ten of our favorite immune “foodie,” immune boosters that we want to share with our EOV community that are great companions to use along with our products. Please review the list below (all organic):

  1. Raw honey
  2. Grapefruit
  3. Garlic
  4. Ginger
  5. Spinach
  6. Turmeric (which also has many topic benefits when mixed with raw yellow shea butter and palm oil from Ghana)
  7. Black Seed Oil
  8. Papaya
  9. Bittermelon
  10. Beets

Combination Tip: Ginger and Beet Stew (we do not own the rights to this photo)

SELECT4ME – JULY

As July comes to an end, the countdown begins for the last days of summer – for the children at least! With back to school around the corner, we at Essence of Vitality know how the transition from “summer time,” to “school time” can be quite challenging for the first couple of week as you recalibrate your kids back into their school, extracurricular, and bedtime schedules while also shopping for back to school necessities. Our SELECT4ME July feature are two simple and amazing recipes via The Food Babe that you can incorporate into your children’s meals for lunch and as a after school treat. Our first recipe is a refreshing coconut berry creamsicle pop using coconut milk (breastfeeding mamas, feel free to use your God-given milk) and mixed berries of your choice (organic maple syrup, coconut nectar, raw honey, or agave are optional natural sweeteners to use for those with a bit of a sweet tooth). The second recipe, for those who want to veer away from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, is Food Babe’s Favorite Sprout Wrap – which you can serve open-faced, wrapped up, or roll it up and dice it into vegan pinwheels (omit the mustard for those who are vegan and substitute with some sprinkled lemon juice directly from lemons for some zest).

SELECT4ME – June

It’s almost one week into the summer solstice and six more months of 2019 remain – as we realign ourselves for July, take time to not only focus on the external factors of your life – work, school, bills, etc; but also take time to tend to your internal – your peace of mind, your body’s wellness, and feeding light and love into your soul. Regardless of any beliefs you may have, we are all currently responsible for THIS life we are living and how we make of it. It is so easy to get caught up with the things happening in front of us, that our self-care often gets pushed to the back. To also bring light on families, we would like to wish all dads around the world a very (belated) Happy Father’s Day.  Mother’s give life to us and nurture us, but fathers also provide an equal and pivotal role as mothers do. They provide for us, protect  us, build us, teach us, and show an amazing amount of devotion and love towards us. We want all dads to know that we appreciate you, not just on one day out of every year, but all the time.dad1.jpg
